WE DANCE IN THE SHADOWS AND ARE REBORN IN THE FIRE
Kinetic sculpture. Belin, Germany (2025)

The work takes the form of a rotating angel-like figure, moving slowly around its own axis in a continuous, ceremonial motion. Its dark presence draws on Slavic, specifically Belarusian, visual and ritual aesthetics, connecting the figure to ideas of force, dominance, protection, and pagan symbolism.
The work engages with the transformation of identity through the acceptance of its darker side. Strength and dominance become part of this process, together with a return to a more instinctive and pagan layer of the self.
Reused bicycle tires, metal chain, motor.
