Feminism Can Be a Luxury
Installation, 2024
Developed during a residency at Ethno Tabatadze in Karbuli, Georgia, the work draws on two workshops with local communities.
In the first, women were invited to articulate personal desires. These statements were collected and embedded into the objects.
In the second, young participants worked with found and discarded materials, producing sound and drawing. Their marks are carried by the same structures.
The installation brings these elements together, holding different forms of expression within a shared material system.
Curated by Elena Darjania.
