Developed during a residency at Ethno Tabatadze in Karbuli, Georgia, the installation is built from found objects and discarded materials transformed into sound-producing structures resembling forest animals. The objects carry words and desires expressed by women living in Karbuli, bringing forward voices shaped and often suppressed by patriarchal structures. The materials were selected together with children and teenagers from the village, connecting the work to those in whom these women place their care, hope, and future.

A xylophone becomes a place where the women’s words and desires can be sounded and brought forward. A bell made from a discarded Soviet outdoor washbasin resonates like an actual bell, turning an ordinary object into something that can announce and be heard. A curtain assembled from discarded tiles forms a fragile barrier from a world that attempts to control women. Across the installation, materials considered useless or abandoned are given another form and function, becoming active objects with their own presence and trajectory.
